The awarding ceremony of the Certificate of Scopus database indexing

   On 22th of November, 2016 in the National academy of sciences of RK, there was held the awarding ceremony of the Certificate of Scopus database indexing to editorial board of the "News of NAS RK. Series of geology and technical sciences" scientific journal.

Gino Ussi, the executive vice-president, as well as other members of the Elsevier company (Amsterdam, Netherlands) have taken part in this event.

"News of NAS RK. Series of geology and technical sciences» journal on the 26 of July, 2016 entered into the Scopus international database - the world's largest unified abstract database which indexes more than 21000 names of scientific, technical and medical journals of about 5,000 international publishers, through the persistent, diligent, purposeful work of editorial board members, aimed at high-grade publishing of scientific articles of authors who publish the results of their scientific work. Other academic journals of NAS RK are under consideration.

During the ceremony, presentations were made by Gino Ussi, Executive Vice President of Elsevier, Murat Zhurinov, President of NAS RK, academician, Galimkair Mutanov, academician of NAS RK, rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhambakin K.Zh., corresponding member of NAS RK, Bapiyeva M.K., vice president of the National Center for Scientific and Technical information, Mansurov Z.A., Director general of IPG, the founding father of the first journal, indexed in the Scopus, Togambayeva A.K., director of department on science and innovation activity of Al-Farabi KazNU, Chechin L.M, corresponding member of NAS RK.
